Matwork Pilates with Josie 

Thursdays at 6.15pm-7.15pm at Nicholson School of Dance Studios

Matwork Pilates is a system of exercises done down on the mat, in sitting and in standing. The focus of the Pilates exercises is predominantly to build core strength, increase flexibility and improve coordination.  Our first group class will be held on Thursday 7thFebruary.   No experience necessary. To join the group you must have already attended a Fundamentals workshop or a 1-1 session with Josie. This is to ensure everyone in the group understands the fundamentals and helps make sure everyone gets equal attention.  Workshops will be held at 6.15pm-7.15pm on Thursday 24th& 31stJanuary, with more to follow in March.   This class is for adults, minimum age 16 years. The ability level is beginners, though classes will not be easy! During the class you will be working to:     Strengthen postural muscles to support your frame.     Build core strength and learn to engage the core muscles.   Improve flexibility throughout the body.
